The City of Washington will hold a public hearing on July 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at 200 Harned Avenue, Washington. The hearing will discuss a proposed federally funded Community Development Block Grant project. Immediately before the Common Council meeting, Mayor Rhoads will administer the Oath of Office to Jordan Andry, the city’s newest police officer. Following the hearing and the swearing-in ceremony, the City of Washington Common Council and Board of Public Works and Safety (BPW&S) meetings will take place.
