The Washington Rotary Club hosted Rotary International District Governor Mandy Jo Lohrum at Wednesday’s meeting. Lohrum, from Greensburg, is beginning her term. Lohrum said service to local communities and increasing the clubs’ visibility are her goals for the year.
Following the meeting, the District Governor visited the Washington Rotary Club’s latest service project, the pocket park at the intersection of Meridian and National Highway. Another long-standing Rotary project is planting cherry trees around Eastside Park and other locations around Daviess County.
