A special new movie is premiering this Friday at the Indiana Theater in downtown Washington. The Sound of Hope is an inspirational true story of one amazing pastor and his church family and their passion for foster children. The movie will hit the big screen Friday night. Lauren Alexander with the Stand Up Foundation will be the special guest at the movie to answer questions about foster care here in Southern Indiana, and she says she is excited to bring this powerful movie to Washington.
Alexander exercised caution due to some content in the movie; she recommends a crowd of 13 and older. She will be offering free books to foster parents after the movie while they last. The cost of tickets is only $6, and portions of ticket sales will go back to the mission of the Stand Up Foundation this Friday at the Indiana Theater in downtown Washington.
