Pike County received good news for the local economy last week as Stella Jones announced an expansion at their Winslow location.
Stella Jones produces pressure-treated wood products.
The $5.7 million expansion will include a rail spur, a kitchen for additional staff, staff locker rooms, and new boilers to process railroad ties.
The company does plan to add additional staff once the expansion is complete.
