The Daviess County United Way is proud to announce they have partnered with Daviess Community Hospital and ShipHappens for a new 24/7 sharps disposal location.
The location will be next to the hospital (behind the DCH Medical Clinic), in the alleyway off Northeast 15th and Grand Avenue.
It will be well lit, and you’ll be able to drive up next to the bin for easy accessibility and safety.
There are various health and medical reasons to have the need to dispose of needles, even for pets. A ribbon cutting will take place in June.
