On May 2, deputies from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants at multiple locations as part of an investigation into recent reports of thefts from vehicles across the county. As a result of the raids, Brayton L. White, 23, of Washington, was arrested and charged with several counts of theft, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana. The authorities recovered a significant number of items, including two stolen handguns. The investigation is ongoing as authorities process the recovered items to determine ownership. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to the public for their assistance in providing security camera footage and other information.
