The Town of Shoals, in collaboration with the Historic Shoals River District, is pursuing a $10,000 grant to integrate arts and creativity into the Shoals community. They are inviting community members and creatives to a meeting to brainstorm ideas for incorporating art into the community, particularly at Overlook Park, the first area visitors encounter when entering Shoals. The meeting will gather community input for the grant’s use. The community meeting will be on May 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Shoals Overlook Park. Discussion topics include Overlook Park improvements and showcasing art in the community.
