Washington City Police Make Two Drug-Related Arrests Over the Weekend

More details have been released by Washington City Police concerning two separate drug arrests over the weekend. On Saturday, officers with the Washington Police Department were dispatched to Walmart for a complaint from a shoplifter. During the complaint, officers located approximately 10 grams of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine and suspected Marijuana.  As a result of the complaint and further investigation, 39-year-old Rachel Mandujano was arrested on charges of Dealing Methamphetamine, Theft, and Possession of Marijuana.

On Sunday, officers went to a residence on SW 6th St. in an attempt to arrest 44-year-old Michael Barnard and 43-year-old Nicole Barnard on felony warrants related to counterfeiting.  While there, officers observed items related to narcotics use in plain view. After a further search of the residence, officers reported locating approximately 4.5 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and controlled substance pills. Michael and Nicole Barnard were arrested on their warrants and additional charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.  Also arrested was 32-year-old Katelyn Ross on charges of Criminal Trespass, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
