Donald “Donny” Hartzburg, 62, of Oaktown passed away April 6, 2024. He was born in Vincennes, IN on March 27, 1962, to Jack and Emma Hartzburg. Donny attended Lincoln High School and was a graduate of the 1980 class. He worked for 25 years in maintenance for what is the current Cherokee Apartments.
Donny was a kind and loving person who would always help anyone in need. He loved being outdoors whether that was fishing, boating, riding his grasshopper mower, or cruising the country in his Polaris Razor. He also enjoyed shooting, racing sprint cars with his dad, and collecting sprint car memorabilia. Donny was truly a one of a kind person and will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his father Jack Lee Hartzburg.
Donny is survived by his mother Emma Hartzburg; sister Deana Hartzburg; cousins Brent Sutton and Kelly Stafford; and many aunts and uncles.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Hartzburg. Visitation will be held at 524 Broadway St. from 4-6 pm on April 12, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held following visitation at 6 pm.
