As we approach the total Solar Eclipse weekend coming next weekend, the Indiana Department of Transportation has issued a few reminders for motorists hitting the road during the event. Make sure you have all your supplies packed if heading out before the eclipse. Driving during the event, please keep an eye out for people walking along the roadway, and do not take any pictures while trying to drive. Also, as the darkness approaches, be sure to turn your headlights on. Finally, when heading out after the eclipse, of course have a designated driver if you have been drinking, and be patient as traffic will be heavy and may be slow at times.
