The Martin County Community Foundation recently awarded over $70-thousand dollars in its quarterly grant cycle. Among the recipients, the City of Loogootee received $20,000 for their comprehensive planning effort moving forward for the future. The Hoosier Trails Council Boy Scouts got $3,000 for their after-school STEM program. Loogootee Pickleball received $3,400 to go towards the new courts by the city pool. $2,500 was granted to the Patoka Valley AIDS Community Action Group for Pridefest 2024. And Shoals Community Schools received $25,000 for lighting at the softball field. Congratulations to all the groups.
