Betty Jean Harbison, 89, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her home.
She was born June 15, 1934 in Loogootee, Indiana to the late Charles Edward and Alma Ruth (Cole) Fry.
Betty married Billy Blaine Harbison on August 31, 1952 and he preceded her in 2003.
She attended Redemption Christian Church and was of the Christian faith. Betty enjoyed bowling and crocheting.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Blaine Harbison; children, James Harbison and Kathy Kuebler; brother, Vernon Souerdyke; granddaughter, Stephanie Bothwell; daughter-in-law, Stacie Harbison
She is survived by her children, Billy Lee Harbison, Teresa Sue (Layne) Dobbs, and Chuck (Shirley) Adams; grandchildren, Cody Williams, Heather Truelove, Kelly Williams, Leslie Fuhs, Natalie Smith, Craig Harbison, Tabitha Hill, Ashley Schneider, Zach Harbison, Randalyn Young, Melissa Pritchard, and John Adams; and 15 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kris Harbison.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 1st, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
