Early Sunday morning, Trooper Nathaniel Kern pulled over a vehicle on Clay Street in Jasper for failing to dim its bright lights. Upon approaching the driver, Jeromy Perkins, Kern observed signs of impairment. Perkins, 52, from Saint Anthony, IN, was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired and taken to Dubois County Jail. He faces charges of OVWI and driving with a prior suspension. Assisting officers included Troopers Andrew Jones and Leah Schnell, along with Jasper Police.
