The Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village in Vincennes is shutting down. In an announcement on Friday, the parent company says the rising costs have made it impossible to continue the programs offered on campus. The facility serves 38 counties across the state for at-risk juveniles. The company says they will work to find employment for the current staff and will be working with the court system on the detention process for those currently in the facility. The projected final date of services is March 29th.
