In Vincennes, Indiana, the community of Knox County is coming together in a search effort for Jared McColloch, who was reported missing on November 5. McColloch’s truck was discovered in far southwestern Knox County on Wabash River Road, with unusual circumstances, according to his mother, Tammie Reppond. The family has established a Facebook page, “Finding Jared McColloch,” which has garnered nearly three thousand members. The community’s response has been overwhelming, with many dedicating their weekends to search efforts. Additionally, the Vincennes Animal Shelter is providing complimentary care for McColloch’s dogs, Rusty and Roxanne, until family members arrive. Knox County Sheriff Doug Vantlin, collaborating with the Department of Natural Resources, is leading search operations, emphasizing that, at present, no foul play is suspected.
