Local authorities in Vincennes have taken significant steps in addressing a series of recent vehicle thefts. According to the Vincennes Police Department, 19-year-old Payton A. Watts was apprehended on Thursday on multiple charges, including a Felony Probation Warrant for Auto Theft. Watts faces additional charges of Resisting Law Enforcement and Auto Theft with a Prior Conviction.
In connection with the same incident, a juvenile was also taken into custody and is currently being held at the Southwest Indiana Regional Youth Village. The investigation is ongoing, and local law enforcement remains committed to addressing these recent vehicle thefts.
