A special program honoring Daviess County Medal of Honor recipients will be held tonight at the Daviess County Museum. Tom Brummett will lead the talk and discuss the heroic lives of Private Richard Taylor from the Civil War and Lt. Colonel Don C. Faith Junior from the Korean War. Their heroic efforts on the battlefield led both to receive this top honor. The program will feature pictures, medals, family, maps of the battlefields, and much more. The program is free and open to all at 6 p.m. tonight at the Daviess County Museum on Main Street in downtown Washington. Come out and show your support for these two local heroes, who received the highest award for valor.
