Mary D. Frederick, 86, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Gentlecare in Vincennes. Mary was born on September 10, 1936 and was the daughter of John and Selma (Eddleman) Brothers. She was married to the love of her life, David Frederick and he preceded her in death in 2017.
Mary retired after many years as a church secretary. She enjoyed her job and took pride in her work. She was a kind, warm, and loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by not only her family, but also her friends that were so dear to her.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Zachary (Rick Henry) and Julie Atkinson; grandchildren, Jessica Tallman (Justin Tallman), Amy Bryan (Matthew), Lindsay Brown (Nick), Will Atkinson (Crystal), and Jeannie Atkinson; great grandchildren, Alex Atkinson, Reese Atkinson, Haley Shepherd, Alyssa Shepherd, Bridget Embry, Scarlett Embry, Eric Bryan, and Harper Tallman.
A graveside service will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Monroe City. Pastor Trevor Murry will be officiating. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mary.
