Daviess County Central Dispatch received a report on August 28th about a body found floating in West Boggs Lake near a private dock on Upper South Pointe Circle. Deputies arrived to find 77-year-old Jerry Shadle of Upper South Pointe Drive in the water near a boat dock. Initial investigations suggest Shadle, who was fishing off a neighboring dock, fell into the lake. He had been in the water for an unknown period of time. The Daviess County Coroner’s Office will be conducting a further investigation into the incident.
