Maggie M. (Narron) O’Haver, 80, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 11, 2023. Maggie was born on October 11, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Willie and Maggie (Lynch) Narron. She was married to her best friend, Donald “Woody” O’Haver and he precedes her in death.
Maggie was a Respiratory Therapist for 33 years. She was a dedicated medical professional who had a caring heart for her patients. In her spare time she enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and watching her game shows on TV. In her day, Maggie was an amazing golfer. Her husband Woody and her would play nearly everyday with Maggie becoming such a great golfer she started teeing off at the mens tees. It was fun watching her play and enjoy the game.
Surviving Maggie are her children, Rhonda Stevens, Teresa Hoskins (Glen), Willie Collins (Lorana), and John Collins; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding Maggie in death are her parents; husband Donald “Woody” O’Haver; children, Timothy Collins and Cindy Westhaver; grandchild, David Hoskins; and great grandchild, Isaac Stevens.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023 at noon at Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Trevor Murry will be officiating. Goodwin- Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Maggie.
