Larry W. Hess, 67, of Vincennes, IN passed away August 14, 2023. He was born in Vincennes, IN on January 15, 1956, to the late Benjamin R. and Lillie D. (Leffler) Hess. Larry attended South Knox High School. Larry married Jeanette Davis on June 17, 1977. He worked for Gemtron for 25 years before retiring. In his free time, Larry enjoyed watching Jimmie Johnson in NASCAR, collecting antique coins and knives, maintaining his lawn, watching drag racing, tinkering in his garage, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sister Patricia (William) Ridge; brother Jim Hess; dog Tuffy; mother-in-law Dorothy Davis; and father-in-law Forest Davis.
He is survived by his wife, of 46 years, Jeanette Hess; daughter Jenifer Hess; son Jordan (Ashley) Hess; grandchildren Breanna (Christopher) Guerra and Brayten Lockhart; great-grandchildren Nolan Robert Lewis, Axle James Scott, Kason Joseph Wayne; siblings Dorothy Scott and Janet Sanders; brother-in-law Ron (Charity) Davis; sisters-in-law Glenda (Aaron) Crockett and Brenda (Doug) Bloebaum; dog Chevy; and many nieces and nephews.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Hess. Services will be private.
