Attention all 4-H members in Martin, Daviess, and the surrounding counties! If you plan to exhibit livestock, it is essential to complete the required training. Note that you can take the training outside your home county if you prefer. For any questions, please reach out to your local Extension office. Purdue Extension Martin County is implementing the Indiana 4-H Quality Livestock Care Program training, which has replaced the YQCA program. Youth in grades 3–12 who will be showcasing beef, dairy, poultry, sheep, goats, swine, or rabbits must complete this training by July 1st. Mark your calendars for the upcoming Martin County training sessions: Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 2 PM and at 4 PM. To register, call 812-295-2412 at least two days prior to the chosen class.
