Mary F. Craft, 78, of Shoals, gained her angel wings early in the morning of Monday, May 29, 2023 at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.
Born May 22, 1945, in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of James W. And Lillian (Thompson) Quigley.
She married the love of her life, David D. Craft on April 1, 1963, and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2018.
They loved their 3 children, as well as all of their dogs and cats they raised during their lives together. She was very loved by everyone who came to know her.
Mary worked at K-Mart in Jasper and Buy Low in Loogootee. She attended Crane Village Church
Surviving are her 2 sons, David D. Craft II and Edward Craft and wife Marlena; son-in-law, Larry Ryan; grandchildren, Stephanie Lynn Garrison and husband Darrell, Sara Lanae Craft, Jessica Elizabeth Ryan, and Steven Wayne Young and wife Angel; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; daughter, Monica Ryan; and 2 brothers, Larry (Beverly) Quigley and Donald (Mary) Quigley.
Funeral services will be at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care, Shoals, with Denver Craft officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until the service hour on Friday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals.
