Vincennes residents are invited to participate in the upcoming July 4th parade as the City of Vincennes has announced the availability of entry forms. The parade, which promises to be a spectacular celebration, will follow the theme of “Bold Stripes, Bright Stars, Brave Hearts.”
To maintain a cohesive patriotic ambiance, all entries must be creatively decorated in a manner that exudes a strong sense of patriotism, with flags prominently displayed. This will help contribute to the festive atmosphere and showcase the collective pride of the community.
In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable event, the parade committee has implemented certain guidelines. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited throughout the parade route. If any participants on floats, including riders, drivers, or walkers, are found to be intoxicated, their entry will be promptly removed from the parade.
Additionally, the parade committee reserves the right to reject any entry forms that do not align with the theme or fail to meet the established criteria.
Participants are reminded to submit their completed entry forms by noon on Thursday, June 29th, as no late entries will be accepted. The entry forms can be obtained from the city’s official website at vincennes.org. Alternatively, individuals can visit City Hall, located at 201 Vigo Street, to pick up the forms in person.
