Low Early Voting Turnout Reported in Knox County, Indiana Ahead of Primary Elections

Only 3% of registered voters in Knox County, Indiana, have voted early since April 4, according to the Knox County Clerk, David Shelton.

There were 135 in-person votes, 165 mail-in votes, and 70 votes from nursing homes.

Early in-person voting continues until May 1 at noon, and you can find a list of voting centers on knoxcounty.in.gov.

To vote by mail, submit a one-page application by April 20 to the Knox County Clerk’s office.

The primary election day is May 2, and polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
