FEMA declared federal disaster assistance for Indiana after severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes affected several counties from March 31 to April 1. The president’s action provides funding for affected individuals in 12 counties to receive temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans, and other programs to help them recover. Brian F. Schiller will coordinate federal recovery operations in the affected area. Individuals who suffered losses in these areas can apply for assistance through DisasterAssistance.gov, by calling (800) 621-3362, or by using the FEMA App.
